I've photographed this colorful couple dancing on rue Mouffetard since 2009. He is always dressed in such unusual attire that I sometimes forget to notice what she's wearing although it seems to be white most often. I've had the opportunity to speak with some of the others but never these two. I don't think they're married but seem to meet up each Sunday and usually dance together. Maybe if I get another chance, I'll find out more!
Effectivement je trouve très agréable de s'arrêter un instant et regarder un couple danser sur souvent de vieux airs d'autrefois... Un bon et doux moment qui me rappelle mon dernier séjour parisien (en août)...

ReplyDeleteI think they make a great dancing pair. They seem to go together like a hand and glove. Perhaps that is why you see them dancing together a lot. :)

ReplyDeleteI agree about "feeling their energy." The layers of clothing can hardly contain the deep layers of emotion...at least that's what I see:)
ReplyDeleteI found the dancing in the streets last May thanks to your blog. It was one of my favorite moments in Paris and have 3 shots from that day hanging in my office. Fun to day dream about that sunny Sunday.
