I thought about Vreni also as we snapped photos here and about Marie as we walked past this church at least twice daily to/from our hotel on another visit. I like the dark-sky contrast here.
Lovely! I am hoping to stay near St. Germain area. So much history, but then again every street has such history it is hard to choose where to stay when I go next year!

This photo reminds me of last November when I met Genie of "Paris and Beyond" and we visited this church.
ReplyDeleteI've made a note Virginia, it's getting rather long haha!
ReplyDeletecaught part of a beautiful service in Spanish here then was forced to have a chocolate eclair at Deux Magots
ReplyDeleteWe have this one on our list, but the list is quite long! Love the angle of this photo -- the dark sky makes for a dramatic mood.

I like the angle, Virginia. It aims the building right up to heaven. Kinda like you intended.
ReplyDeleteNice capture, V. I find the church very striking up against the blue sky.
