Sunday Church Series - Église Saint-Germain-des-Prés

Arguably the oldest, or one of the oldest churches in Paris.  Located in the 6th arrondissment, a church you should visit.

  7. We have this one on our list, but the list is quite long! Love the angle of this photo -- the dark sky makes for a dramatic mood.

  8. I thought about Vreni also as we snapped photos here and about Marie as we walked past this church at least twice daily to/from our hotel on another visit. I like the dark-sky contrast here.

  11. Lovely!
I am hoping to stay near St. Germain area. So much history, but then again every street has such history it is hard to choose where to stay when I go next year!

  12. I like the angle, Virginia. It aims the building right up to heaven. Kinda like you intended.
