I'm currently reading "metronome" by Lorent Deutsch, and this museum comes back often as the place where to find many memories of the history of PAris.
For a moment there I thought you had taken a photo inside my home - NOT! Very lovely. I do appreciate when you show us interesting scenes from inside the fabulous buildings of Paris. I'm always so focused on the out of doors when I'm there. You've got a great eye for that sort of thing!!
Virginia I am your newest follower. Just got involved in the blog world since I have a new website and blog for my business. So glad I found your wonderful blog. You are living my dream! Now at least I feel like I can tag along with you and enjoy the sites. Thanks and have a great week end!
Such inviting steps! Reminds me that I have not finished reading the book on Madame Sevigne...by now I'm sure it's tucked away in some secret hiding place.
Tres grand staircase beautifully shown here Virginia, perfect shadows on the sculpture at the bottom of the stairs. p.s. I knew you wouldn't have the slightest doubt as to where my photos were taken, too easy oui!
Free to public, as all Paris municipal museums! This one is defintely worth the visit!
ReplyDeleteJust was there last week for the Atget exhibition; what a treat !
