Sometimes when I'm in Paris, the very special places I like to haunt for photos, often surprise me. It's no secret that le Marais is one of my favorite places to visit, eat, photograph.... even stay. Last January Mary and I took a spin through the
Villages St. Paul and found an added delight......a brocante! These linens caught my eye......but not my pocketbook. I''m having second thoughts!
When Vicki had that lovely giveaway recently, provenance must have known you were having second thoughts. I was so happy you won the linen!
ReplyDeleteOh, I am drooling all over these. Wish that I was strolling through here today!
ReplyDeleteOh my, the linens are gorgeous! I would be having second thoughts too!
ReplyDeleteThose linens are gorgeous. It depends on how expensive they were to give it second thoughts.
ReplyDeleteHard to resist to those linen..The kind of place i love!
ReplyDeleteOne doesn't encounter much lace these days.
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous, V! I'll have to come here when I have that apartment in Paris—if I can ever afford the apt., I can probably afford some of this. :~}
ReplyDeleteThe city of eternal temptations !
ReplyDeleteNow, was there some arsenic nearby ?
What a great photo. I can really get a sense of how delicate the linens are!
ReplyDeleteSo many gorgeous linens, not enough tables! ;-)
ReplyDeleteYour banner photo is just tremendous, Virginia.
ReplyDeleteLove love French linens!!!
ReplyDeleteThey are pretty, Virginia. But, a manly guy like me finds it hard working lace into the decor . . .
ReplyDeleteBeautiful handiwork, Virginia. Wow.
ReplyDeleteThe Marais is also one of my favourite places in Paris. Beautiful linens and I also love the basket/coffer.
