Cirque d'hiver

Originally named Cirque Napoléon in 1852, this 20 sided building with its intricate bas relief work looks like an elaborately decorated cake!  Visit the website here for schedules and events.

  1. Great to see "Le Cirque Bouglione" again. This is a bit of a family tradition for us (and many Parisians.) My boy and his cousins have enjoyed the annual "spectacle" for years when we visit in the winter. Bonne fin de weekend, V. Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

  7. Love the rouge with the white and it does look a bit like a fancy decorated cake! Great snap!

  8. Love the light and shadows of the first photo... I have only seen this from the outside but would like to see the interior.

  10. Jack, I almost mentioned that in my text. Our B'ham museum has the largest Wedgewood Collection in the world and that was the first thing I said as we walked up!
