have I never grabbed my friends (ou peut-être mes amis grabbed moi) and marched into Café Marly and enjoyed a nice drink while watching the sunset on la Pyramide??? Je ne sais pas. Je suis triste.
I was there only once - inside in the winter - and was then slightly disappointed by the service, but things may have changed since then. Worth a new try! - in good company! :-)
I met a friend at Café Marly 2 years ago, we wanted to just have a drink, but it was noon and as we didn´t want to have lunch the waiter told us that we had to leave....
Je pense qu'il est parce que tu es dans l'amour avec Café Nemours...
ReplyDeleteIt's because you must keep new things to do for your next trip to Paris! :o)
ReplyDeleteI am sure you will fix that one day Virginia.
ReplyDeleteWhy do I not believe that?
ReplyDeleteSounds like a plan. I seem to end up in the food court below, which makes me feel like I am in any mall in the USA.
ReplyDeletePeut-être parce qu'il est un peu chère? Genie and I were thrille to just walk through it and photograph it's interior!
ReplyDeleteMaybe next time, something to look out for.
ReplyDeleteBetter late zan never, non, V de B!
ReplyDeleteBonne journee
Because you are waiting for me to be there!
ReplyDeleteI love all of your ideas. :)
ReplyDeleteV
I love the view of the Louvre courtyard from the inner rooms!
ReplyDeleteMaybe next time.
ReplyDeleteDon't be sad, Paris is forever!
ReplyDeleteSounds like some kind of "invitation"! :-)

You need a little reason or excuse to go back !!!

ReplyDeleteI never have either, V. For some reason, Café Marly intimidates me.
ReplyDeletePeter, I have an idea. I'll do the inviting and you can buy the champagne! :)
ReplyDeleteAlexa,
moi aussi!
What an excellent compromise, V! :-)
ReplyDeleteFunny that you say that. I was just thinking how bipolar Paris is.
ReplyDeleteIt is the most beautiful city and the things we think of from it are always ...
so melancholy and to a point sad.
watching the sun set pondering about life...
and yet we love it so much.
now that you realize you haven't done it go do it!
