Ah, zeze French women, always smoking, smoking... Tssss... Great shot, V.PS: Did you see the Artist? If not, you will have to, after tonight's Oscars. Cocorico! Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
Yes, like Malyss said, a French movie from the '60s. Actually, it reminds me of my Parisian life in the '60s (insert very large sigh here)—you captured the atmosphere perfectly, V! BTW, I turned off my WV. Does Blogger not know they're making us nuts?
This is a beautiful shot and so quint essential Paris, when I think of paris, red and out door cafe come to mind not sure why but it does. I will have my annual trip to Paris in April I can't wait ... beautiful shot Virginia.

Great capture. Rue de l'Arbaléte makes me think of L'Isola -- the restaurant where we have dined on several occasions thanks to you!
ReplyDeleteUne couleur qui donne un petit air mal famé.

Like the drama of this image. The cigarette, a hand, red, lateness, empty street....
