Hi Virginia... ah, les belles doches, err, deux chevaux, which hold such a nostalgic place in many french folks hearts.... saw a nice white one the other day which was named "Dolly" ! Hello dolly ! I love the way they lean the wrong way when going around bends...
I can't decide Virginia, they are both very cool cars, but what I want to know is HOW is the owner of the yellow car get himself into such a tricky situation haha!
HA, I have always been amazed at the Parisian parking skills. I call this the "French Kiss" when both bumpers are touching another car! My daughter says that is why most of their cars are banged up. They just keep bumping the other cars till they can get out! V
Le bleu, s'il te plait (even with the wonky headlight). Back in the '60s, half the people I knew drove one of these—takes me back to fun times, so thanks!
All french people who were 20 between 50ies and 70ies drove that car at least once in their life! I learned to drive on a blue one, 2CV are part of our national patrimony and have a place in our hearts!
I love 2CV's, either colour would be great. I have always wanted one.
ReplyDeleteHappy day
Carolyn
Questa simpaticissima auto è sicuramente uno dei simboli della Francia.
ReplyDeleteI love the blue one, but Could I afford the repair!

ReplyDeleteBleu s'il vous plait! Citroen are the epitome of French cars!
ReplyDeleteWow, that takes me back to the Sixties! Great to see deux cheveax in such wonderful condition.
ReplyDeleteJe préfère le bleu
ReplyDeleteBlue, Yellow? I would have to take the blue (damage and all) because I could not get the yellow out of that tight space!
ReplyDeleteLove those cars!

I'd take yellow over blue any day of the week.
ReplyDeleteThere are 2CVs here but it's always a novelty to see one on the street.
Blue, please. And make mine a Porsche. ;-)

Does this come in black or silver, Virginia? In Connecticut, frivolity is not allowed.
ReplyDeleteThey are fantastic vintage cars, I think the blue is my favorite!
