Les Mains Mignon!




I never cease to be amazed at the delightful little shops you find in Paris. Who would ever imagine a shop that sells only plaster molds of feet and hands!  Des Pieds et Des Mains, on passage Molière, near the Pomidou was closed, but I took these through the window. I loved the dear little signs with their ages.

Update: I have found the artist!

    Wow, I did not know about this shop... very interesting and I imagine a dear keepsake...

    Seeing all of those hands in the window is just a bit creepy... I hope that none of them waved at you!

    Well I thought this post would bring interesting comments and I was right! Peter and Starman weren't so sure while others thought the sweet little baby fists were anywhere from interesting to precious! C'est la vie, n'est-ce pas?

    Brilliant of you to find this place—and share it with us! I have a plaster cast of Lila's 5-year-old thumb (made as a bit of a joke by her pediatric dentist). Bizarre, perhaps, but I still cherish it.
