If the Shoe Fits......

buy a pair in every color!!  Oh  *Repetto, how do I love thee??  Let me count the colors.   Even if your ballerina days are long past, you can still indulge here.  Have a look at their latest collection!  Miam, miam!  Maybe this time they will be open and I can step inside and have a look around. I have no idea the cost. I'm pretty sure I won't be bringing home a pair but I still have hope! ( Do you think they will allow photographs!)

*Their website is marvelous!

  5. As Paula said, the colours remind me of macarons, too! The shoe departments in the Boxing Day sales here looked NOTHING like this. "Dishevelled" springs to mind.

  11. As a former baby ballerina, I'm with you—these are beyond fabulous. Hope you get there and buy a pair for yourself! Bon voyage; amuse-toi bien!
    My WV is "ingot"—no doubt a sign that you should get a pair of gold Repettos. :~}

  12. Couldn't help but think of Mark Knopfler's excellent song about shoes :

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTEU4i0Dyn4

    "She's going shopping for shoes
She wants them in magenta and Caribbean blue
Platinum and buttercup lilac and black
They fill a bucket up and laugh behind her back
Imelda baby Imelda baby what to do
All the poor people saying that they gotta quit paying for you

In New York and Paris on the Champs Elysées
They see her coming from a long way
They clap their hands together when they get her in their store
She's gonna wanna get more more more and more and more
Imelda baby Imelda baby what to do
All the poor people saying that they gotta quit paying for you

    Everyone's gone Jackie O
    She was a regular here
We thought madame would like to know
We've got the blood red rouge right here

Now we've got all of madame's requisites and all in madame's size
Madame's taste is truly exquisite she must accessorise
The belts are alligator the bags are kangaroo
Enchanté? may I say the jade was made for you
Imelda baby Imelda baby what to do
All the poor people saying that they gotta quit paying for you"

  14. The cost is 150 euros for the less expensive but you can design your own pair (more expensive then...)

  16. I trust you were able to pare down your many choices and not need a shipping container for your footwear on this Paris jaunt ...

    Buon viaggio!
