You have already met dress designer Alexis here. But today I thought you'd enjoy seeing a few more in his collection. His evening dresses remind me of a wedding cake. Dreamy!!
I hope you have plenty more of these photos as the lighting is exquisite. How nice that you were able to get the detail of this designer's creation in that second photo.
Enjoy your day and remember that a rainy day in Paris beats any kind of day in B'ham...
I agree, the lighting is fantastic. How did you meet Alexis? Have you gone to the Monet exhibit yet? I jumped and bought plane tickets last night for the very last weekend. Two nights in Paris, for Monet.
Thirty years ago I could have worn these with aplomb!!! Of course, then I couldn't afford them...now I probably still can't afford them and I certainly couldn't get in them!!!

ReplyDeleteI'll add the word élégant. It's probably best to enjoy the photos without knowing the price.
ReplyDeleteBonne journée!
Quelle robe de mariée fantastique! Love the detail, V, and trust that you are having a wonderful time.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to imagine wearing this. I can't, it's too fine.
ReplyDeleteBonjour from Aix en Provence!
ReplyDeleteLovely! Both of these images have such delicious light. Bravo!
Beautiful! Wouldn't it be fun to wear this little number?
ReplyDeleteI agree it would be fun to wear one of these frocks....but where????? HA
ReplyDeleteI met Alexis last June when I wandered into his shop, elated that it was finally open when I was in the neighborhood.
Obivously, I don't know much about designer clothing for women...is he famous?
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!!!
