Sweet Treat

I have a very good reason for sharing this not so great photograph of this patisserie window with you today. Last week I received a lovely email from Susan Hochbaum, a new follower of this blog. Susan is not only a lover of Paris, and Paris pastries, she is also a talented photographer and one creative lady! She was kind enough to send along the link to a little movie she's made. You will thank me for this one! She will return to Paris in April for more photographs as she has signed a book deal. Susan, let us all know when your book comes out. I think we will ALL want one!

  6. Harriet,
DO NO resist them. If you do, you'll get home and regret it. Trust me. Indulge yourself in Paris every way you can think of. You can eat salads in Charleston! :)

  8. If it's not so great, why do I suddenly have this yearning for cake?

  10. What fabulous cakes! Love Susan's pastry parade too; can't wait for the book. And I can't wait to return to Paris to take your advice to eat all the pastries I can without regret (but I do that anyway).

  11. I will never look at anything "ordinary" the same again. I love that she turns scenery into desserts. I think Napoleon looks charming with a croissant on his head ;) Thanks for this post, I really enjoyed it and fell quite full actually.

  12. Corine,
I loved the Emperor avec croissant myself! HA

I'm glad you all enjoyed Susan's very creative movie. I can hardly wait to see what she captures on her trip to Paris in April. I 'm sure she has enjoyed reading your nice comments today as well. I'm hungry now myself!

  13. The wonderful thing about traveling is that even though you eat wonderful pastries like these, you also walk yourself silly doing all that sightseeing so....eat and enjoy!!!

  14. WOW ... HOW FABULOUS IS THE LITTLE MOVIE! I am very interested in knowing when the book comes out! I tried to put in my e-mail in the space for it at the end of the movie, but it wouldn't let me type there -- I'll have to get the message through another way! Simply fabulous!
