Virginia, I'm glad you started this blog to share your amazing photos of Paris. Can't wait to see them all! These are just beautiful. I love the red coat!
Bonjour! C'est fantastique. Belle lumiere et rouge... Ok Hello .. this will be a regular time out. Too early for the wine but I can drink in the wonderful Parisian images.
Jilly, My caption was almost," Who says the French don't have a sense of humor!" He was just great and stopped and posed his dog just pour moi! In fact everyone in Paris was incredibly friendly and helpful and I tried to return the favor!
The "manteau rouge" didn't appear to be anything special in the camera. It was a pleasant surprise when I downloaded my photos. I might enter it in a camera club competition this Thurs. I have not had ANY luck before, maybe I'll get lucky this time.
Thank you so much for sharing these, V. I love the way you compose your photos -- you make Paris look timeless, yet new. How on earth do you manage that? You are definitely supposed to visit this city ... and frequently! You make it come alive for all of us.
One of my favorites. Woman in Red Coat. Perfect angle, somehow this reminds me of that movie I seen in 1st grade. A child chasing down a red ballon throughought Paris.
Could this be Samantha Brown from her show on the Travel Network, Passport to Europe?
So you went up the butte! Did you take the funiculaire, or were you brave and walked up? The views are absolutely beautiful. Wasn't that red coat a godsend?
The red coat required patience.
ReplyDeletebelle serie, tu rends hommage a notre belle capitale.
