Today we travel 80 km SE of Paris to the fortified medieval town of Proving. This lovely heurtoir and porte was a good find.

I found this wonderful old door in the medieval town of  Provins, located about an hour southeast of Paris.

Sunday Chuch Series - Saint Quiriace Collegiate Church

Construction of the Basilique Saint Quiriace was begun in the 12th century and not completed until the 17th century.   Located in the medieval village of Provins,  in the champagne region of France

We couldn't reach this home and overgrown vineyard in Provins. Now that I look at it all again, I wish we'd tried harder.

Tomorrow we leave for home. It has been a wonderful 4 weeks. I will be returning to Paris around July 11th and then to Fontaine-Fourches again on the 17th for two weeks of my photography workshop. I will continue to post on this blog so keep visiting.
