Le studio de Monsieur Rodin

Located in the town of Meudon, is another lesser known  Rodin Museum. It's a short Metro ride to the town, then you can trek up the hill or taxi. Also of note, Rodin's gravesite and his home where you can tour several of the rooms, including this studio.

Chez Rodin

Auguste Rodin purchased this home in the town of Muedon,in 1896 and lived and worked here, although he continued to work in Paris as well. There are a few rooms, including this dining room, his bedroom and bath,  as well as a small studio that you can visit. On a lower level is a museum featuring many of his familiar work overlooking his burial site. We visited on the 100th Anniversary of his death.

For those of you with the time to get outside of the city I would recommend this side trip. We took the Metro to the town, took a cab up the  hill to the museum and walked back down. We had a lovely lunch, visited the marché then we took the Metro back into Paris.
