Look Familiar?

All Apple Stores are designed alike but the Apple Store Opéra, really is a step above don't you think?  They did a terrific job keeping the fine architectural details when they renovated of this beautiful building.
And the blue tee shirts and friendly, knowledgeable staff were just what you would expect from your hometown Apple store!

Remembering

A sad day for everyone at Apple and for all of us who admired what Steve Jobs created in a life cut short.  As a former Apple employee I can say it was the finest company I've ever had the pleasure of being part of.  He will certainly be missed.   Last January, our first day in Paris, we headed to the Apple Store Opéra.  It was a thrill to see it first hand.

le Magasin de Pomme

French Stranger #74

Well you know the first stop we made the day we landed in Paris was the Apple Store Opéra!! Oh it is just amazing.

A meticulous renovation of this beautiful old building blends elegant French wrought ironwork and columns with Apple's trademark merchande displays.  I was fascinated that this enormous two story store is laid out almost exactly like ours here in Birmingham.  Today I feature a very friendly Apple employee whose English was very good as he answered my questions. I regret I forgot to get his name!  I will share a few more photos in the future.

I regret that we ran out of time before I could visit the Apple Store Louvre. Next time!
