This photograph is very special. I am almost positive that the rue that runs between the first and second set of buildings on the left is the home of my dear Paris friends Keri and Richard. I spent a lovely night in their apartment last November. Keri, I'll await your comment to verify. Regardless, Île Saint Louis is a very special place, and I loved photographing it day and night!

While strolling Île St. Louis, Mary and I stopped in to have a look at the Église Saint- Louis- en- l'île.  A simple little church but against the wall as we entered was this lovely grouping of ladders. I'd love to know the use or former use.
