What are these new chairs make of- is it a plastic? I wonder if the traditional woven chairs will become scarce... I like the color but I don't like that fact that the traditional ones will be supplanted by this style.
I KNOW the woven ones are plastic- that's OK by me cuz they are more flexible on the bum. And more interesting to look at. These look like hard plates of plastic which could be uncomfortable to sit on.
"Citron-verts", I would say ! It's a very elegant design... as is the photo of course.

ReplyDeleteRoseann, I think many of the woven ones are plastic since they are left out in all weather. I agree that the old ones are the very best!
