Oh, Virginia, you should take the English tour one day. It's an amazing place. The inside stairs curve from top to bottom - I believe the stairs are concave at the foot of the staircase and convex when they reach the top. An amazing feat. When I visited Paris the second time I had worked with the Head of the Wardrobe department when the company was in Brooklyn. I contacted her when I was there and got an extra special private tour of the backstage areas. I actually walked on the stage at Garnier. We also got employee tickets- a special rate- for the evening's performance. A memory I will never forget.
