On Monday, following the terrorist attacks on Friday evening, I slipped into the majestic Église de la Madeleine. There was a noon mass in process. Candles were lit all around the church. I suspect there were more than usual.
I, too, like to slip into places of worship, esp when away from home. I think it tells a great deal about a culture. This one speaks volumes about the reaction of current events.
A beautiful composition. I always find it difficult to get a good exposure with candlelight. You succeeded wonderfully.
