The side entrance to the beautiful Cathédrale de Troyes ( Cathédrale Saint-Pierre-et-Saint Paul de Troyes). Begun in 1208 and finished in the 17 century, I'm always amazed that these remarkable churches have stood the test of time.
Wonderful! All that contrast, the strong red of the door and the subtle colors of the scene. Also the emotional: the door open implies welcome, yet it is so dark it implies mystery!
Red doors perfectly framed. Bravo.
ReplyDeleteA very inspiring composition V. I can see the planning behind this one.

ReplyDeleteLet me add my bravas for this super framing job, V!
ReplyDelete(And then there's that red door ...)
You've got a winner here, Sweetheart. Print and frame it.
ReplyDeleteLove doors through arches :-)
