It does look like quite a complicated mechanism. There's always the stares. Do they have a resuscitation machine at the top?

Excellent detail. I knew there were elevators, but in most pics of the tower, you simply do not see where they go.
We'll I've never gone up the Eiffel tower and I am a bit claustrophobic. :-)

I used these elevators this past summer. Not a pleasant experience with the crowds, but my injured knee prevented me from using the stairs!
