The French love their art and I am always amazed that they will queue up for hours. Last November as we left the fabulousBrassaï exhibit at the Hôtel de Ville, we saw this line waiting in the rain. This particular umbrella, says it all in Paris!
Je me souviens avoir attendu longtemps pour visiter une exposition de peinture à Paris... toutefois pas sous la pluie ! Une belle photo. Je vous fais de gros bisous ♡
Well it turns out that waiting in the rain is not a bad strategy... if you're prepared for it of course. That's because the lines are shorter in the rain !
Nice shot of the a rainy day in Paris. Rain provides many photo opportunities but I hope it doesn't "Rain Forever". Cheers J.

Reminds me of all the moms on the sidewalks for school pick ups on those rainy days!
ReplyDeleteRain forever indeed!
ReplyDeleteAnd that exhibit was absolutely worth waiting in the rain for, wasn't it? (Not sorry I had sunshine when I went though.)
