I think Peter told me this is the theatre in the movie "Amalie" when she goes to the movies. The photo brings back memories of my own nice day in Montmartre, with Peter showing us around! It's beautifully framed!
They've been showing ads before movies in France for about 50 years. Think I'm used to it by now. (The good news: You can now read a book on your phone while you wait for the movie to start.) Lovely photo, V --
Loin des multiplex...
ReplyDeleteYes, get there early so you don't miss a minute of the half hour of advertisements !
ReplyDeleteThe cinema, like its photo, looks interesting. Warm regards

ReplyDeleteOne hopes France has not given into the same habit of running a half hour of commercials before a movie as we have in North America.
ReplyDeleteStuart, sad to hear that! Peter reports that the chairs are the most comfortable however!
ReplyDeleteALain, thankfully!
