Our rather large and festive group had a delicious meal near Place des Vosges last November at Les Bonnes Soeurs. The chef made a small appearance. We all clapped!
I am learning to appreciate good chefs more and more as we enjoy different restaurants here in Santa Fe. Yesterday I noticed a handsome young man dressed in an authentic Italian athletic shirt in line at Whole Foods. Immediately I struck up a conversation. Turned out that he is THE chef at an Italian restaurant (of which there are few here in Santa Fe) that I've been wanting to visit. I've been invited into his kitchen so now I am really eager to eat there. Didn't whip out my camera fast enough before he left so I have another reason to visit the restaurant! Incidentally, this chef of yours is almost as handsome as my new chef friend, too!
