In Paris, the options for facades are endless. I chose this wall beside a florist's shop on the Marais. As I took the shot I wondered if it was to cover the graffiti or another statement. I liked it no matter the reason.
Today my CIty Daily Photo blog friends around the world are posting their take on FACADES. Go visit their great blogs HERE!
Bonjour,
ReplyDeleteUne façade effectivement originale...
Joli cliché.
Gros bisous
I hope it's to cover the graffiti because it's really poorly done.
ReplyDeleteNow that is an unusual facade V. I doubt there will be another on like in the theme this month. Perhaps someone did take objection to art work on the wall.
ReplyDeleteinteresting question .... neat photo
ReplyDeleteA bit unwieldy to display inside the florist's shop, but could be a big project for the florist or a customer. Stems may be a bit more malleable when damp. Think big! Imagine building a garden bower, maybe for a bride and groom to pass through!
ReplyDeleteInteresting. The ropes on the outside kind of ruin the look to me. I'd have woven it in and out to hide it some. It's definitely different.
ReplyDeleteThat particular graffiti deserves to be hidden—and they found a good way to do it.
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a different look! Interesting interpretation of today's theme.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting. I like it.
ReplyDeleteWell this is different Virginia, I think it's a très drôle déclaration française, et parfait pour le theme :)
ReplyDeleteA work of art!
ReplyDeleteReminds me of wood to be made into walking sticks. Nice post for the theme!
