My favorite street artist is Didier Lespagnole. He paints almost every Monday on Pont Neuf and has a booth on Saturday at Bastille. Here is an idea, even if you have never drawn a line in your life, even if what you draw does not look like art, you should take a sketch pad and a pencil and sit for a while somewhere like Place des Vosges and draw. It will transform your experience of Paris. It did mine.

Did you try Place du Terte in Montmartre?
ReplyDeleteGreat smile.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Starman. He looks like maybe he enjoys painting rows of facades. So if he is not there....maybe along the Seine?
ReplyDeleteNo wonder you search for him, his smile is warm and friendly.
ReplyDeleteHe's very handsome. I saw a different guy at Place des Vosges -- I hope he didn't kick this one out!

ReplyDeleteI bet he would love your portrait of him! (You do have a way of capturing your subjects that's quite special, V.)
ReplyDeleteTres charmant!
