As I hurried across rue de Castiglione, I spotted her adding some finishing touches to the windows at Annick Goutal. Sigh........ je voudrais un flacon, svp.
A dear friend of mine has been wearing their best-selling fragrance, l'Eau d'Hadrien, for years. I need to swing by the boutique rue Castiglione and get re-acquainted with Goutal. Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
I'm ever faithful to YSL and always wear Paris, but next time I'm there I'm going to stop by this parfumerie to admire les vitrines and have a whiff of the merchandise. :~}
Oh, those windows. I love it there.
ReplyDeleteWe usually stay at the Intercontinental so we can walk the poodle, and I never miss seeing Guerlain or Goutal.
Not familiar with Goutal. Is that a parfumerie?
ReplyDeleteHi V. You may not have a bottle but you have this lovely momento of your visit. Cheers J.
ReplyDeleteNever been there. Still, I love the image.
ReplyDeleteA "bouteille"... that's a lot! Perhaps a little "flacon", if you remain "sage" until Xmas! :-)
ReplyDeleteStarman, yes indeed it is!
ReplyDeletePeter, thanks for the help with my French! And I'm not sure I'll be "sage" or well behaved till Christmas!! :)
V
my favorite perfume is Goutal's Muse de Nomade

ReplyDeleteLa décoration vitrine est belle, mais il faut entrer dans la boutique pour se faire parfumer – ils doivent le faire gracieusement.
ReplyDeleteLovely window and great capture.

ReplyDeleteI'm not familiar with this one Virginia, but I'll make a point of having a petit spray the next time I'm in the city.
ReplyDeleteAnd look at her hair!!!
