Mary and I struck out for a grande brocante in the 20 ème one Saturday. I'll admit we were sorely disappointed in the offerings. This was the one and only item I would have paid for if I'd been able to get this vintage case of pétanque balls in my carryon. Oh the stories they could tell.
One man's trash.....
ReplyDeleteCe n'est certainement pas un joueur de pétanque qui les vend car elles ne sont pas rangées correctement par paires.
ReplyDeleteWonderful picture!

If you have a place to store them in Paris...bring them home one ball at a time...They say if you leave something behind...you always have a reason to return!
ReplyDeleteAlain, maybe people like me have picked them up and handled them and not put them back in their proper place. I think you might be a devoted pétanque player?

You did get something from this outing, V -- a terrific picture! Bon weekend, ma chere.
ReplyDeleteJ'adore le pétanque. I have a set and my nutty family play at Christmas and other big gatherings, they can get a wee bit competitive :) love this image Virginia, the old case is wonderful.
