When in Paris, our favorite flat is just steps from Boutique Michel Cuizel on rue Saint Honoré. This morning, Mary and I stepped inside so I could ask for a few photographs. Madame was kind enough to allow me to photograph her making every single box of their fabulous chocolats just so.

Very nice, V. but what I really want to know is: Did she give you samples too? :-) Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

ReplyDeleteI'm wondering why I suddenly have a great desire to eat chocolate ?... :o)
ReplyDeleteC' est parfait.
ReplyDeleteCostas
Le chocolat lis en valeur comme des pierres précieuses....
ReplyDeleteBonne journée,
Pierre
V, this has me dreaming of one of my favourite chocolate shops here, KoKo Black. I'm visiting it in a couple of days and can hardly wait!
ReplyDeleteIn addition to being a gifted photographer, you must have accomplished the skill of persuasion. Most shop keepers I have run across(in Paris) have not been so accommodating! Yum!
ReplyDeleteI was enjoying this image listening to your music {it was Lara Fabian singing Je Suis Malada}...... and there I was in Paris. Thanks for the journey.
ReplyDeleteGreat picture, V. I am swooning over all that chocolate. YUM! :)
ReplyDeleteLovely picture! I have been trying to cut sweets from my diet but who says I can't enjoy eye candy!!!Lisa
ReplyDeleteHow many boxes did you buy?
ReplyDeleteThat's a very dangerous shop to have nearby! (But Madame looks like she avoids over-sampling the wares.) Thanks for visiting my Paris today, V—I would love to join you on that quai.
ReplyDeleteHow very delicious! I'm quite afraid I might not be so reserved as to shoot and not sample!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like quite a shop. I can just imagine the smells.
ReplyDeleteOh I can see you all drooling all over your keyboards. Some of you know by now that I haven't bought one morsel of chocolat in this or any chocolatier in Paris. I guess the camera has kept at least one or two kilos off !!!!
ReplyDeleteV
A pleasure and a torture...
ReplyDeleteWow, look at all that ch, ch, choc, choc, choooocooolaaaaate!!!
ReplyDeleteWith you charm and smile, you are always "allowed"! :-)
