Peter, now that's a mystery. I"ve been in Square René Viviani as well but snapped a sign right after this photo that said Parc Lagrange. There's a video on youtube of some guy right there. I"ll just let you solve the mystery for us all svp.! :)
PEter, Genie and solved the mystery. Parc Lagrange sign that I saw was for the underground parking there on the street! It most certainly is Square René-Viviani seen from the side. Merci V
THAT'S the art of a true photographer.... a perfect photo through a dirty bus window! Brava V. Fxx
ReplyDeleteThis picture looks like acrylic painting here.
ReplyDeleteI'd never have known, V! It's picture perfect.
ReplyDelete(Actually, I think the little park is called Square René-Viviani; the adjacent street is Rue Lagrange.)
ReplyDeleteA charming little park with a perfect view of Notre Dame and with Paris' oldest surviving tree, obviously planted in 1601!

ReplyDeleteAnd we were bussing down the side, not the street facing ND.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely shot with the church in the background. The kiosk looks quite elegant in the midst of this park.
