Square René-Viviani

Square René-Vivani with Église Saint-Julien-le-Pauvre in the background.  Taken through a dirty bus window, I'm pretty amazed it turned out so well.

  4. (Actually, I think the little park is called Square René-Viviani; the adjacent street is Rue Lagrange.)

A charming little park with a perfect view of Notre Dame and with Paris' oldest surviving tree, obviously planted in 1601!

  5. Peter, now that's a mystery. I"ve been in Square René Viviani as well but snapped a sign right after this photo that said Parc Lagrange. There's a video on youtube of some guy right there. I"ll just let you solve the mystery for us all svp.! :)

  7. What a lovely shot with the church in the background. The kiosk looks quite elegant in the midst of this park.

  8. PEter, Genie and solved the mystery. Parc Lagrange sign that I saw was for the underground parking there on the street! It most certainly is Square René-Viviani seen from the side. Merci
