Sometimes you just can't have enough Paris Rouge in one week! Today a shot Peter has perfected on his
blog header. We were having a look at
The Welcoming Hands at Tuilieries, and he kindly pointed out this vantage point, capturing these three in one shot. The red bus was the cherry on the sundae, so to speak.
Having watched the ending of le Tour de France ( thanks Genie for the heads up) as the bikers pedaled up and down the Champs Élysées yesterday, it made me homesick for this special view.
As an added bonus I include a special
tune for you today!
Lovely, especially with the pop of red!
ReplyDeleteOui, you can thank our friend Peter for this one -- and the bus driver too. Perfect timing! Veronique (French girl in Seattle)
ReplyDeleteLooking at the post saves a trip to Paris.
ReplyDeleteYour special colour touch makes the difference! :-)
ReplyDeleteHi V - I do like the unexpected Paris rouge in this one, J.
ReplyDeleteAaaaah Paris...one of the best cities in the world to travel! Kudos to the bus driver for making the photo so candid.

ReplyDeletelinda foto, o vermelho chama muito atençao
ReplyDeleteAs much as I would have loved to be "in my spot" on Champs Élysées yesterday, we really did get a better view on TV. I am sorry that le Tour is over but I loved seeing the spirit of the ride along with the exquisite countryside and villes of France... just amazingly beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI do love this alignment and Paris rouge!
I was very pleasantly surprised at the number of really good shots during the last day of Le Tour.
ReplyDeletenicely done
ReplyDeleteWhat a great photo, beautiful
ReplyDeleteI agree with Kristy...that's just the right pop of color.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same as a few folks here—that spot of red adds a certain je ne sais quoi, V!
ReplyDeleteYou have so many wonderful images, I will be commenting a lot today! You're right about the red bus!
ReplyDeleteLove the pic with the touch of rouge...but I also love that splash of gold on the obelisk. Beautiful V.
ReplyDeleteMy sporting interests were across the Channel yesterday. I was watching Adam Scott's 4-shot lead late in the British Open when the time to Skype with Susie arrived. When I returned to the TV, Ernie Els was walking to the podium to get the claret jug. How did that happen?!?!?
