Oh...have gotta' get there Virginia....j'adore chapeaux! Fabulous shot as always. By the way, was wandering thru Place des Vosges yesterday..and saw your photo of the painting/stencil of Victor Hugo...isn't it fab!
A different hat for every day and every purpose... hope you took a few home with you !
Was just looking through your recent posts, see you've been busy, as always. Was away travelling in Italy for a couple of weeks, always fun to catch up and see what you've been posting... no end of Parisian delights !
I love this image Virginia, it really does look like it could have been taken in the 1920's oui! Aimee has a hat just like the one on the table to the right, she is such a hat person. She's just restarted her fashion blog, check it out and see her 'RED bowler hat' that she's wearing today.. It's called Midnight Pie (on my sidebar)
J'aime beaucoup cette photo, elle a un air un peu rétro, les jeunes femmes avec leurs chapeaux "cloche" un petit côté années 30 ! Très sympathique ambiance ! Bisous Danielle

ReplyDeleteYes, take off Macdo and we'll see a "roaring 20ies" scene!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful that these hats are being made by hand? Each one an original. I hope the see your image of their work.

Totally charming! (Well, except for the McDo cups) I love that they're all modeling their wares.
ReplyDeleteThey are certainly absorbed in making their hats! :)
