Mr. Pidds Takes a Ride

This cute pup belongs to my friend Zabie Johnston.  We met via Facebook friends in Paris.  Zabie's blog is French Market Maven and Mr. Pidds goes wherever Z goes.   He lunched with us at Le Rubis and then hopped the Métro and scampered along for an afternoon at le Cimetière des Chiens.  We worried that he might find it bit sad and depressing, but he thought it great fun and proved to be quite the trooper.  On our ride back home, I snapped this cute portrait.  ( He's better behaved than some Métro passengers I've seen in my day!)

  1. Google traduction say : pup mean "jeune chien" ou "jeune phoque"...ce n'est pas faux.

  4. I love Shih Tzus, but Mr. Pidds needs a trim! Trust me on this. Also if you are to be a true friend to Mr. Pidds, you need to buy him a squeaky toy, preferably cloth with a squeaker inside, not rubber.

  5. Amazing that he can ride the Metro in Paris, and from looks of picture, not even on a leash. I take that back--maybe I do see a leash. In my town, only "working" dogs are allowed on MARTA. Nevertheless, he looks like a well-behaved dog.

  12. I would love to have a friend named Zabie. All my friends are Mike or Bob or Dick. Even Dennis doesn't approach Zabie.

  15. Aw! What an adorable, furry little bugger! I'd want to take him absolutely everywhere too. Dogs are the BEST! And cats too for sure. Your Meeps is as wonderful as Mr. Pidds, but in a feline way, of course. :)
