Déjeuner

This little courtyard at  le Marché des Enfants Rouges caught my attention.  Even in January, Parisians will venture outside to enjoy lunch whenever possible!

  5. Looks like a good place to chill-out with friends. Here in Melaka, we have similar lovely places.

  8. Nice shot, Virginia ! I like the touches of colors on the table while the rest is very subdued. Very January in Paris...

Hope you saw the "red" photo I left for you in the second to most recent post over at the Magic Lantern... very red... enjoy :-)

  11. Thank you everyone. After having another look, I think this might just be one of my favorites.

Peter, we could have eaten there that day but had lots of ground to cover in the Marais as I recall.

Owen, I LOVED the rouge hairdresser's that you found for me. Lord knows I could use it while in Paris. With the wind and rain, my hair takes on a life of its on.

I say, we all gather in Paris and have a huge blog lunch together right here!

  15. The softness of the weathered wall adds such a wonderful background for the table and leaf-barren tree. I would love to dine there!

  16. We spent a few weeks a year for several years just around the corner, in rue Turbigo. Sometimes we still come back for the soirs d'Été at the mairie du 3ème.
