Sitting quietly under Madame's chair while she enjoyed a late afternoon coffee.

  1. Love this little pet under the café table and the gentleman in the background having a smoke -- classic Paris!

Yawn.... did somebody's baby sleep in this morning?

  2. I could never do that with my suburban Lab mix. She would tear off that table, and all the chairs around it if she spotted a cat across the street ;-) My new dog will be a city dog ie "well-behaved"... Frenchie, here I come! Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

  3. I would like to be that lady......

I think you can go back to bed...if the storm that just hit Houston is headed your way!

  6. As Genie said 'classic Paris'!
But it's much much than that, the sprakling clean windows reflecting the surroundings, the light shadows and the wonderful Parisian tables and chairs.
    And such a patient chien!
    Delightful Virginia.

  8. that's classic but in a way that the reflections, the chairs and the tables are gathering the elements of a parisian typical and very beautiful shot

  10. I just watched the movie "Taken" with Liam Neeson. Excellent spy movie it was filmed in Paris. One scene looked just like this spot! Did you get a chance to watch The Tourist? These same chairs were in the movie with Angelina Jolie sitting at them.

  11. I can't explain why, but for some reason this photo says "lonely" to me. A woman by herself. The man looking away, also by himself. All those empty chairs. I think I am going to cry.

  13. Ma petite chienne est bien élevée quand elle très fatiguée! The French certainly seem to do a good job training their dogs! I see a book on the horizon - "Bringing up le chien".

  15. Wonderful...but if my dog did that he would stretch across the sidewalk so everyone would stop, notice, say hello and step over. Dog marketing 101.
