I love this picture. The rain is so refreshing. Plus we just had a small dosing tonight, and while the humidity is high, it brought the temps down, and my cushions got caught and are wet and soggy. This is quite a coincidence!
Now this is a perfect photo!!! I love that Perth remembered that familiar smell of the warm pavement after a rain...I also love the smell of approaching rain. Now if we could just dry those chairs off and be sitting there with friends enjoying the smell of a café au lait.....le sigh......
I love what you captured here. The after effects if the rain glistening on the pavement. These little table and chairs look oh so inviting. The place to be. X
I thought of you today, Virginia. John and I had lunch at a Pasadena cafe, and the chairs reminded me of the woven chairs one finds at so many of the Paris cafes you've photographed.
Oh Paris, is beautiful even when it is raining.
ReplyDeleteI love the song and your fabulous red chairs in the photograph.
Happy Thursday

The rain, the café chairs, the rich colors of rouge et vert... le sigh. Wonderful perspective and angle, mon amie.

ReplyDeleteLe sighing right along with Genie. As soon as it stops raining, let's meet for a little chit chat! (how I wish it was raining here!)
