Paris Rouge LX - Les chaises rouges sous la pluie

I look back on my Paris photos and think this Paris Rouge series might be endless.
Vive la France.....ROUGE!!!

My new book, Paris Rouge Through My Lens is now available on Blurb right HERE!

Aujourd'hui, Françoise Hardy sings one of my favorite songs here.
J'adore!

  1. Oh Paris, is beautiful even when it is raining.
I love the song and your fabulous red chairs in the photograph.

    Happy Thursday

  2. I love this picture. The rain is so refreshing. Plus we just had a small dosing tonight, and while the humidity is high, it brought the temps down, and my cushions got caught and are wet and soggy. This is quite a coincidence!

  3. I love Rouge! :)
It's so traditional there, this place looks perfect for a coffee and some chat ( in French ) with friends!

  4. The rain, the café chairs, the rich colors of rouge et vert... le sigh. Wonderful perspective and angle, mon amie.

  6. Le sighing right along with Genie. As soon as it stops raining, let's meet for a little chit chat! (how I wish it was raining here!)

  7. Now this is a perfect photo!!! I love that Perth remembered that familiar smell of the warm pavement after a rain...I also love the smell of approaching rain. Now if we could just dry those chairs off and be sitting there with friends enjoying the smell of a café au lait.....le sigh......

  10. Some people wouldn't take photos in the rain - you prove that it can work spectacularly well. I like the sound of your new book.

  16. I thought of you today, Virginia. John and I had lunch at a Pasadena cafe, and the chairs reminded me of the woven chairs one finds at so many of the Paris cafes you've photographed.
