Beautiful night shot, but this part of the bridge is the Pont au Change, with a view of the Théâtre du Châtelet. The Pont Saint-Michel is on the other side of the Île de la Cité.
VP, Thank you for the correction. I learned something new about the bridges of Paris today! I depend on all of you to help me with this and my French as well! V
There is something very pleasant about this scene, Virginia. I can't put my finger on it. It is simple and yet your central and lit place is warm. I would enjoy strolling around and coming upon this scene.
Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI can feel the ambiance Virginia.
ReplyDeletePERFECT SHOT! Anita
ReplyDeletedo you see the letter "N" on the bridge? Have not done any research but if I remember it correctly... it refers to Napoleon III?
ReplyDeleteI do love the way dusk seems to linger in Paris, putting its soft glow on the Seine and all of the city.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great capture of this familiar landmark area.
ReplyDeleteLovely ..
ReplyDeleteLove the lights.
