Imagine my delight when I spotted this very table and chairs in Woody Allen's
Midnight in Paris! I had just selected this photo, taken in front of Shakespeare and Company, for a blog post. On closer inspection I thought the
book choice in the window rather amusing as well.
Parfait pour une petite pause thé...

A perfect arrangement! I love the colours in this photo!
ReplyDeleteI just can't wait to see this movie Virginia, and now I will look out for this cafe scene and think of your picture. I know it's warmer in Paris just now, but 'A Naked Lunch' hahaha! now that would make for an interesting post!!
ReplyDeleteDid you really have a naked lunch there?! Oh la la
ReplyDeleteLovely snap, V!
Will there be champagne? Alons-y!
ReplyDeleteSuch an inviting spot...
ReplyDeleteThis just plain looks like Paris!!!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it fun when you watch French movies (or movies made in France) and you recognize everything?
ReplyDeleteCharming, V. Woody's "eye" is obviously no better than yours. ;~}
ReplyDeleteYour eye is incredible. Just like the film The Tourist...right in the beginning Angelina is sitting at the same table you have photographed!!
ReplyDeleteLove your new banner!
I'll bet you have photos from half the scenes in Midnight . . . Wasn't it fun?
ReplyDeleteJack, well like Starman, I did so enjoy recognizing so many places in this film and others. Many ask me why I return to Paris over and over. I do because now I"m somewhere between a Parisian and a tourist. It feels more and more like home each time I go back. It's a very special place for me.
ReplyDeleteSoooo very Paris! I'm not surprised Woody Allen fell for it just like you did :-)
ReplyDeleteJ'adore ~ came via Daryl.
