Oui, Place des Vosges. Those waiters have been there for quite a while as I've photos from several trips. The waiter on the right was very friendly and took very good care of me when I dined alone. The one on the left a bit of a grump!
Oh, I recognize these guys! The waiters at Ma Bourgogne flirted outrageously with my daughters when we were there last month. Oh, wait—the waiters everywhere did that! :~} (Hope the tornadoes left you and yours alone, V.)
Lovely. I read that you are currently taking french? Are you taking classes or over the internet? I used to take french immersion but we moved in grade 8. I do have that background though and I am trying to get some of my lost french back.

It looks like a prototypical Parisian restaurant scene. I have been reading bad stories about fierce storms coming through Birmingham. Hope you are OK.
Oh yes, I know these two... They were waiting on "you" in your favorite place in Paris. I wish we were there right now (again)!

Place des Vosges?
ReplyDeleteNot a profession I'd get along well with...
ReplyDeleteGod bless you!

ReplyDeleteSuper! I like them when they try to attract tourists with all methods possible.

Just now catching up with the news from the southern US... hoping you and your close ones are all ok. The images are terrifying...
ReplyDeleteThinking warm thoughts in your direction.

In all the times we've been to Paris, I've only had one bad waiter, and even he warmed up after a short while.

ReplyDeleteI wonder if they get good tips?
ReplyDeleteGreat photo!
We always arrive at restaurants too early... And so this is a familiar and lovely sight! Thank you!
