Peter's Paris From Above

My last day in Paris, this past January, Peter ( Peter's Paris blog) gently nudged me to take a deep breath and ride the grande roue at Tuileries.  I'm so glad I did. I got some great photos from high above Paris...after I opened my eyes! Where else could I have had this wonderful view of the city j'adore?  Peter captured some as well, as you can see.

Shhhh, it's his birthday today!

  6. Virginia, you are indeed brave but I bet the rewards were many. Do they leave this up year round?

  7. This may be the only way I'll see these views. I'm a scaredy cat when it comes to the grande rue.

  9. Jeanne, I believe they put it up around Nov. and take it down the end of Jan.

Harriet, I was a bit of a scaredy cat till I saw the city below and had to get that camera working!

Cezar and Leila, I hope you both have a wonderful Easter as well.

    Brittany,
It is fun to meet fellow bloggers. Peter has been a great friend to have in Paris. He knows the city and its history better than anyone.

Belgium, We see a lot of Paris !

Maya, Oh I can see you and J on that thing. You'd love it.

  13. Wonderful portrait of Peter! Like Harriet, I'm a wuss when it comes to the big wheel—but I wish it had been up when I was there 'cause I would have done it for the photo op. Bet you got lots of great shots!
