  2. I like black&white!
But last Sunday was a very sunny, warm, colourful day. We took a walk and enjoyed spring colours.
The old pair? They are beautiful!

  4. Delightful photo, Virginia. I love the contrast of the older couple with the younger one in the background. Bises!

  5. I was going to say what M said! The lady on the left is looking rather wistfully at the obviously devoted older couple and the gentleman on the right is staring fiercely—at you!

  6. I saw that and then the younger couple between them... same story, newer version. Love this, V!

Of course not. Do you see any cameras?? HA

Eva and Sergio, I thought BW was good for this as well. Merci

    M, Genie and Alexa,
I got lucky with the people in the background!

  14. Pamela,
Who on earth would be skinny enough to belt a puffy coat!!! Don't you love the elegantly dressed lady with her mink (?) hat and cute tights and chic coat? I love Monsieur with his dapper top coat and hat as well. They obviously took great care dressing for their outing that fine day in the park!

  15. I think they are scheduled for matching hip replacements, after which they are going on Dancing with the Stars.

  16. Ah! only in Paris - the Madame is so elegantly attired in that zipper coat - I'd like one just like that with the man to match bien sur!!

  17. A very sweet photo. I long thought my husband and I would finish our lives together... it was not to be.

May I make a small comment about your title ? It should read Dimanche AU jardin du Luxembourg... and not "à"
("au" being the contracted form of "à le" for masculine words).

  19. It's too bad Browning was quite wrong.

  20. Starman, I must disagree. I think it would be wonderful to have a soulmate to grow old with!

  21. I'm guessing it's the growing old part being the best to be that Starman is finding a contradiction!!! The soulmate part is a blessing at whatever age!!! Aging ain't for sissies!!!

  22. What a wonderful capture. It's so heart warming.

  23. Classic photo of the well dressed people of Paris. Older but elegant in all manner of being.

  24. Interesting how the lady on the left, in the belted puffy coat, is dressed almost indentically as the younger woman! Thought that only happened in CA. ;-)
