That looks num num Miss Virginia. Just like your posts! I share with you a great love for Paris. I have family born and bred there. I was very young when I went to Paris for the first with my mother. She had rented an apartment near the Boulevard Jourdan. Very early one morning we had to cacht a train for Luxemburg. It was still dark when we went by the Cite Universitaire. Suddenly I saw a beautiful, majestic building. Look at that palace! I said to my mother. It was the magnificent Fondation des Etats- Unis!
Last March I had cafe creme and pain au chocolat for breakfast everyday so you have brought back such special memories. The weather was brutal this time last year so cafe breaks helped revitalize us. Thanks for capturing this moment perfectly!
Le big sigh. Breakfast as sheer perfection. For what it is—and even more for where! I see you were just getting to the "good" part in that croissant, so I admire your discipline in putting down the pastry and picking up the camera. :~}
I had a special treat this afternoon. Dunkin Donuts was giving away free donuts on the corner of Broadway and McClintock in Tempe, AZ, and I had a strawberry filled donut.! Delicious! This reminded me of it! Merci!
