I've not spotted anyone in Paris sporting purple suede shoes
ReplyDeleteThen you need to come to Mayence - all the rage here
Very nice photo, V, but I do not think that I would be buying any of the colorful suedes.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favourite pairs of shoes ever were pink suede shoes that I had in my late teens. Modest heel, pointy toes, and two triangles pointing upwards up the achilles. I was devastated when they got wet and ruined. Perhaps I should get to Paris and get some purple suede shoes, they are fabulous
ReplyDeleteThe purple shoes are for the American tourists who think they are being Paris fashionable lol!
ReplyDeleteI thought of you last night! We watched the movie The Tourist with Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie. The first scene takes place in Paris and she was sitting in the exact spot as your post
"Where is this? You Know"
I said to my husband ..."I know this photo !!"
Have you seen the movie? It is fantastic!
The suede shoes look more like moccasins.
ReplyDeleteThe display certainly achieves its purpose, which is to draw attention!
ReplyDeleteGod bless you!
Cezar
These look like men's shoes, so let's pose the question to Laurent: Do Parisien men wear purple suede shoes???
ReplyDeleteI have to say I adore the purple suede shoes! Great image!

This is a great window display! I love that dash of color breaking up the monotony of all brown shoes...cool! Thanks for the tip on the movie The Tourist. I want to see it too.
ReplyDeleteSuper image and of course I go weak at the knees when I hear Elvis...
ReplyDeleteLove these shoes...but not expecting to see a pair on the Chief anytime soon!!!
ReplyDelete@ Hariet : no I do not !!!
ReplyDeleteI think, Italian men would like to wear those shoes. The French are not so much into colours.
ReplyDeleteVreni, I think you might be so right about that! :)
ReplyDeleteLaurent,
You really don't seem the type to wear those either! HA
