I just have to tell you, Virginia, I am reading Les Miserables for the very first time. Have you had the honor of reading it? If not, you should. It's wonderful!! I am loving it. I am killing myself, wanting to go to Paris so bad. What a story Victor Hugo has written. You must experience it!
I am 600 pages in the novel LES MISERABLES by Victor Hugo. Virginia, have you experienced this book? It's wonderful. I love the chapters on Parisian history, and the story of Cosette, and Jean V.
Let me know if you've read it,and if you haven't, you must. It's like experiencing Paris , the story is so vivid,and engaging. I recommend it to everyone on here.
I also like what is happening in the background. Tourist having just arrived..luggage in tow and studying the map..how many times have we seen that? Great shot.
You should send this to Andrew Sullivan, the blogger on The Daily Dish. Every day or so, he features a View From Your Window, and each Saturday, he has a VFYW contest, in which folks have to guess where the window is. It's staggering how many entrants he has each week -- and they ALWAYS manage to guess the location, no matter how obscure.
The latter, I suspect. :) Not that I'm an expert on body language. {Or any language other than English, and some days, even that's questionable.}
ReplyDeleteLooks impatient to me......!!!!

Great colors.
ReplyDeleteFantastic pop of color! It's practically monochromatic, but then the purple bisecting the sepia/B&W is fabulous.
ReplyDeleteNot happily waiting but at least he seems comfortable in the couch...
ReplyDeleteGod bless you!
