At the Jardin du Luxembourg on a sunny Sunday it seemed all of Paris took advantage of the break in the rain and cold to enjoy just strolling like this dear couple. I have more!
Ah, this is my favorite quiet place in Paris, no matter the season. You captured this sweet couple beautifully as they walked in step together, arm in arm. G
This is one of my favourite spots in the Jardin! I have many photos of me around that fountain/fence area. And what a gorgeous photo you have taken, too.
Beautifully composed and captured, V! And a nice memory for me: In student days, when joining up with friends in the garden this was always our go-to meeting spot.
Harriet, I'd love to know how many miles I"ve walked there. Unfortunately I"ve found a way not to lose weight. Eat bread, cheese and pastries and that cancels out the walking! HA
I'm happy to hear all of your wonderful memories of this special place in Paris. In the winter/fall the locals outnumber the tourists I think, and you are able to find nice shots such as this one.
Maybe because I'm so close to their age (if not indeed older), but the first thought that came to my mind was, "Perhaps they're looking for a future home".
The Medici Fountain is one of my favourite places in Paris!
ReplyDeleteSo romantic shot!
ReplyDelete*** Your header is fabulous!

ReplyDeleteHave you ever thought of wearing a pedometer while in Paris just to see how many steps you actually take? Thanks for sharing your walks with us.
