Snap! I got shots like that throughout Versailles ... I am trying to set up a Paris blog ... already deleted the first attempt ... how would you say 'walking the streets of paris'...I am going to try to be multi-lingual ... probably fall flat on my face, but what the heck!
Jlulie, I"m going to guess something like:Marcher les rues à Paris. That said, I will ask my tutor M. Dupre today when she comes and let you know. Bon chance avec votre (vos?) blog.
Virginia, how do you ever get down a whole street in Paris, much less see all the sights you manage to see? You must be stopping every two feet to take pictures!
I wish all of my latches looked like this!

ReplyDeleteDoes that say "come in" or "stay out"? Just a beautiful work of art (the photo and the subject).
ReplyDeleteThat is a unique latch design.

You should ask L Dupre, but I'd wager something like "errer dans les rues de Paris" would be close.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the beautiful picture, V... I'm hooked!
Ooops "M" Dupre!
ReplyDeleteI have settled upon 'à pied dans les rues de Paris' which is on my sidebar. Do visit if you wish, just watch out for the ladders and dripping paint.
ReplyDeleteThis really is a work of art, isn't it? (And your b&w of it's not bad either!)
