It's no secret whatsover how much I enjoyed
Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine. I took you here last summer, but I think we need to revisit. Mary, Peter and I had just the best afternoon exploring this wonderful museum . The view of la tour Eiffel was the icing on the cake. See for yourself.
If you visit la tour, don't miss this fabulous museum !

Berit.
Tully a different view of Paris...
ReplyDeleteLovely photographed.
From inside this vast museum of architecture, you have captured Paris' most famous symbol. It is almost as if the window was meant as the photo frame for la tour Eiffel. Love this b/w!

The view and light is amazing, V!! I can never have too much of that...
ReplyDeleteWow. Cool photo! So much to see in Paris, I feel like I haven't even scratched the surface. I have a feeling I'd love this museum...
ReplyDeleteFantastic! Love the B&W, the way ET is framed by the window and the great contrast of the ancient columns displayed with the modern tower!
ReplyDeleteLove this POV ...
ReplyDeleteI like your different photo of the Eiffel Tower. Interesting picture.
ReplyDeleteThe window is such a perfect frame for the monument (I always forget the name of that thing...)
ReplyDeletePP,
ReplyDeleteHA, oui, it's easy to forget the name of that tall thing! :)
Highly recommend this museum. Just stunning. I'm glad you all like it as well.
Adeeya and Martina, I think this might be the first visiti here or maybe your first time to comment. Bienvenue!
V
Okay, I'll say it: ET! ET!! ET!!! Beautifully framed and shot, Virginia—and perfect in b&w.
ReplyDeleteI agree with many other commenters, Virginia. A lovely subtle shot ... I like the washing outwards of the shades of grey ... I did not know of this museum ... I will add it to my list for next September ..
ReplyDeleteThis shot made my heart jump!
ReplyDeleteAlways a pleasant sight.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool photo of the tower. I've tried and tried to get a good one every time I go. The best one was standing at the bottom looking up through the lights (it was nighttime). It's harder to get a good photo of it than I thought. Plus I was with a group so didn't have the luxury of time.
ReplyDeleteI've really enjoyed your blog. Paris is such a wonderful city. My favorite place is Shakespeare and Co. Of course, I've only seen the city as a tourist. I know it'd be quite different if one lived there.
Una vista originale della torre Eiffel.
ReplyDeleteI love these special little glimpses ! You must have been thrilled with this image Virginia.
