Another Look

It's no secret whatsover how much I enjoyed Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine.  I took you here last summer,  but I think we need to revisit.  Mary, Peter and I had just the best afternoon exploring this wonderful museum . The view of la tour Eiffel was the icing on the cake. See for yourself.

If you visit la tour, don't miss this fabulous museum !

  4. From inside this vast museum of architecture, you have captured Paris' most famous symbol. It is almost as if the window was meant as the photo frame for la tour Eiffel. Love this b/w!

  7. Fantastic! Love the B&W, the way ET is framed by the window and the great contrast of the ancient columns displayed with the modern tower!

  12. I agree with many other commenters, Virginia. A lovely subtle shot ... I like the washing outwards of the shades of grey ... I did not know of this museum ... I will add it to my list for next September ..

  13. What a cool photo of the tower. I've tried and tried to get a good one every time I go. The best one was standing at the bottom looking up through the lights (it was nighttime). It's harder to get a good photo of it than I thought. Plus I was with a group so didn't have the luxury of time.

I've really enjoyed your blog. Paris is such a wonderful city. My favorite place is Shakespeare and Co. Of course, I've only seen the city as a tourist. I know it'd be quite different if one lived there.
