World Cup Mania......Redux

I'm sure JB will point out that I'm about two months late with these photos. He's liable to also add that his visit to Paris caused him to miss one whole day and night of the mind numbing, never ending thrilling soccer semifinals of the World Cup. One afternoon, while the big boys were sipping beverages and cursing the French team unmercifully at the café below, the little boys were having a delightful, free spirited pickup game on the plaza around the Stravinsky Fountain. Boys will be boys!

  2. Hee hee!! Always grand to see kids kicking a ball around rather than glued to a piece of technology. {Says she as she is glued to a piece of technology.}

    Though never a game I'd watch on the tube, I've gone to one World Cup final. And loved it.

  9. Your photo is tons more interesting and professional than most of the European teams' performance during the last world cup!

  11. I kinda miss the World Cup—but definitely not the vuvuzelas! At least these boys would still rather play than just sit and watch, like their elders.

  13. Sadly, commercial free World Cup is only once ever 4 years. I tried watching the NFL last night - so many commercials and time outs.
