It's no secret that Parisians adore their dogs, and they are welcome almost everywhere, including restaurants. Ce chien mignon was perched on a chair beside her doting owner ( her usual spot) while we dined outside at L'Isola, off rue Mouffetard last summer.
Oh, the expression on her face ~ priceless! I'm so glad you caught this little sweetie 'on film', V.
ReplyDeleteSince we've been in Barcelona, I've seen dogs that make this one seem gigantic.
ReplyDeleteToo cute and totally Parisian!
ReplyDeleteWhat a funny face! Love him/her ..
ReplyDeleteWhat a precious expression. Do you think that Meeps would like him for a friend?
ReplyDeleteC'est vrai qu'il est mignon ce petit chien qui attend sagement sur la chaise!
ReplyDeleteI'm not even a dog fan and I like this shot!
ReplyDeleteWhat a funny face - it should have a caption, but I'm no good at thinking of things like that.
ReplyDeleteHow did we here in America get so paranoid about animals in restaurants??? All over Europe you can take your dog in, and cats frequently roam freely...all the better to keep the mouse and rat population under control!!!
ReplyDeleteI obviously wasn't in the know on which nights to go to L'Isola because I didn't get to meet this cutie. What an expression!
ReplyDeleteOh, mon Dieu, qu'elle est mignonne! Love that lopsided look. Actually, a whole lot of Parisian restaurants would probably rather you bring your dog than your kids. :~}
ReplyDeleteA lot of Americans would probably prefer dogs to kids in fine restaurants!!!
ReplyDeleteTotally adorable and so typical.
